WE ARE RECRUITING!!!! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING US READ THE FOLLOWING AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AT THE RECRUITING PAGE. WE ARE INTERESTED IN EVERY CLASS AND WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO CHANGE YOUR SPEC. JUST REMEMBER THAT IF YOUR SPEC IS NOT RAID FRIENDLY YOU MAY GET BUMPED.

If you are viewing our web-site, we assume you are either a guildie, friend of a guildie, or may be interested in knowing more about Atlas Shrugged. We are a mature casual raiding guild (although we do have several early teen members) who believe that as a member of Atlas Shrugged you represent our guild at all times and are expected to purport yourself with Honor, Dignity and Respect for others.

First and Foremost, Atlas Shrugged is a family-friendly, casual raiding guild. We are casual only by environment, attendance, and attitude (we do like to have fun here!). However, on level of participation/skills in a raid, we are still a serious raiding guild. This means if you can only raid once a week, great, but when you raid you better bring your "A" game. Attendance to raids is not required and weeknights 8-11 are our primary raiding times (though there are various runs on almost every day). We build our rosters with quality in mind, as Atlas plays to win! Though most scheduled events are designed for the raiders, we do offer member activities occasionally as well.

Atlas Shrugged, however, is not a hardcore raiding guild. You may use whatever spec you like as long as it is not detrimental to the raid, and you may be asked to step aside for someone else who is more raid-spec friendly. No one will ever make you re-spec your toon into something you do not want to play. If serious, hardcore raiding is what you are after we really encourage you to consider another guild. Atlas will continue to progress, we will defeat new bosses and see great content, but not at the same pace and not with the same atmosphere that other guilds propagate. Atlas is a family friendly guild and we will progress like one.

Atlas Shrugged also promotes a family-friendly atmosphere in our guild chat and over our vent server. We will tolerate no foul language or non family friendly talk. ICC SHARED GUILD RUN ON SATURDAY AT 9 SERVER

As you all may or may not know by now, Atlas is partnering with another guild {BBL DOIN THE HOOD RAT THINGS} who we will now refer to as BBL. So even if you have no intention of signing up or going to ICC, but especially if you would like to be considered, you must, MUST research and study the fights. Everyone, even standby should have an inkling ,of what is going on and what is expected of you in this raid. If you are accepted, be there, food, flasks, bandages, sharpening stones ( yes i know they dont work at our level, it was just to emphasize the everything) scrolls, reagents, etc. to successfully raid. No one gets carried, we must still earn our spot. BBL has been running the 10 man version and wants to get into the 25 man content. We will be filling a limited number of slots and the officers of Atlas want you ready. Even if you dont make the initial cut, dont be discouraged, be prepared for stand-by. Have all your stuff and do something that will let you leave imediately. We will be going to ICC and if we should have 3 wipes we will go to Toc 25.

If you havent already, join the shared channel and get to know these people, they are very nice and we have run several things with their members before. Usually there are not many of their members on, but this is just another way for us to get to know each other.

As you may have guessed, Atlas will not be running this raid. BBL will have invite accept/pass waiver, will politely ask you to leave raid if you are unable to uphold your role and will explain how they do things. We will be their guests, on their vent, and they have no language barriers. We will still expect Atlas members to act in the Atlas way. Polite, funny, and clean. So good raiding, good luck, and have a good time.

Until we get better gear this has been changed to ToC 25 and will start at 9:30.

No Picture, but Ony 10 conquered

On Sunday with an almost all guild run we one shotted ony, grats everyone.

On Sunday, November 22, we once again conquered Ony 10, this time with a full guild run. Much gratitude to everyone who participated and all those who have gone with us before. Without all your contributions we wouldnt have made it.

On Sunday, November 15, Dragonofdoom led us to a victory over Onyxia in the 10 man mode. We had a little help from 2 new friends, Lampolo and AX. So thank you everyone who attended and all those who have been there before, without your groundwork we would have never made it. Now lets continue on and get her down again and get TotC completed.
